The Salt Lick - Legendary BBQ joint in driftwood, great for families and large groups.

Franklin Barbeque - World famous BBQ. Be warned, you will have to wait upwards of 2+ hours to eat here.

The Noble Pig - Quite possibly the greatest sandwiches you will ever have the pleasure of eating.

Chuy's - Excellent tex mex that's great for groups and easy on the wallet. Try any of their green chile dishes.

Homeslice Pizza - Excellent pizzonafied. Ok that's not a word but for reals, the best pizza in town. Complete with some South Congress ambience

Polvo's - Hands down the best fish fajitas in the solar system. It's not even close. Great casual atmosphere too.

Greenlight Electric - these guys are great for that time every 5 years that you need an electrician. From hanging ceiling fans to fixing circuit breaker issues, they are really good and most importantly, they don't PRICE GAUGE you into oblivion.

Austin Custom Hardwood Floors - These guys do exactly what they sound like they do, they install and refinish really high end wood floors all over Austin. Mostly they work with custom home builders but if you're lucky, they will fit your project into their schedule.
